§ 21-3. City commission to authorize marking of parking spaces, stop streets, school zones, speed limit areas, and to prohibit, restrict and regulate parking.

Other than as set forth in this chapter, the city commission shall authorize the marking
of parking spaces, stop streets, school zones, speed limit areas, and prohibit, restrict
and in every way regulate the stopping, standing or parking of any vehicle within
the city and erect signs giving notice thereof.
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive, operate or park a motor vehicle in violation
of such markings or regulations.
