§ 12-74. Liability insurance.

  • (a)

    Any person engaged in the business of digging, drilling or driving wells shall carry liability insurance in the minimum amounts of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for property damage and three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) for personal injury or death. A copy of such insurance policy shall be filed with the licensing officer prior to the issuance of an occupational license.

    (b)

    Such policy shall contain an endorsement placed on the same, requiring thirty (30) days' written notice, by certified mail, to the licensing officer if it becomes necessary for the issuing company to cancel the policy for any reason.
