§ 19-5. Vesting of abandoned right-of-way in adjacent properties.

  • In those cases where the abandoned public right-of-way is held by the city in trust for the benefit of the public, the abandonment shall cause the title to such right-of-way to vest in the adjacent property owner(s). This provision shall not preclude a sale of such property where deemed appropriate by the city commission and not prohibited by law.
