For the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life
and property from fire or explosion, the Lake Worth Fire Prevention Code, in final
form as filed in the office of the fire chief; the Florida Fire Prevention Code, as
may be amended, the National Fire Code, Volumes 1 through 16, 2004 Edition, and amendments
thereto as published by the National Fire Protection Association; and the NFPA 101
Life Safety Code, 2003 Edition, are hereby adopted by reference as the minimum fire
safety code of the city and incorporated herein as fully as if set out at length.
The local amendments to the Florida Fire Prevention Code are set forth in section 11-12.
